CLSA Raises AMD Price Target to $710
CLSA analyst Bhavtosh Vajpayee raised the price target on AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) to $710 (from $575) while maintaining an Outperform rating.
“AMD will likely sell more MI-455 GPUs, at a higher price, than we had earlier estimated. Combining lower gross margin dilution with opex control, we lift FY27-28CL EPS by 25-29%.
The company’s 3-5 year non-GAAP EPS target of US$20 is likely in 2027 itself (CLSA: US$20.25).
Our numbers are ~30% above consensus for 2027, which we see as a year of reckoning for AMD’s GPU ambitions. Encouraging GPU specs boost the balance of outcomes in AMD’s favour.
We rate the stock O-PF with an upgraded TP of US$710, based on 35x CY27 (unchanged) non-GAAP PE.”
