Stifel analyst Tore Svanberg raised the price target on ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) to $80 (from $75) while maintaining a Hold rating.

“We maintain our Hold rating for onsemi shares, primarily as we continue to monitor the pace of the recovery following the inventory correction within Industrial and Automotive, which management noted is now behind the company.

We believe onsemi shares will continue to benefit from a pipeline of design wins in growth markets (AI/DC, EVs, energy infrastructure) allowing for richer margin expansion, and supporting an overall $213bn TAM by 2030.

We believe the company could achieve its target revenue growth of 12-14% CAGR longer term, potentially supported by a diversified customer base and exposure in multiple end markets, with its key Automotive and Industrial segments representing 75.1% of 2Q26 sales, slightly below the long-term target of 80%.

Moreover, while ON has historically exhibited a subpar margin profile, we believe the company’s material business transformation and streamlined operational costs have incrementally raised the margin ‘floor’ in downturns.

(2Q26: NG GMs of 39.3% and NG OMs of 20.8%).”
