“Palantir (PLTR) reported Q4 2025 results that materially exceeded management’s guidance and our estimate, driven by accelerating growth in the U.S. commercial and U.S. government segments.
The central catalyst was AIP in the U.S., which is accelerating sales momentum and rapidly converting pilots into large-scale contracts, while international performance continues to lag due to structural adoption and procurement barriers.
Operating execution also improved meaningfully, with gross and operating profitability expanding well ahead of market expectations.
Management’s upbeat Q1 2026 and full-year 2026 outlook, well above consensus, signals confidence that demand for AI infrastructure is durable and structural rather than cyclical.
We are increasing our 2026–2027 revenue forecasts and do not see new AI agents as a threat to Palantir’s long-term business model.
We maintain our $170 price target for PLTR and upgrade our rating from “Sell” to “Buy,” as the recent sharp pullback in the share price appears unjustified given continued hypergrowth and the underlying strength of the AIP platform.”
