What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard reiterated a Neutral rating and $3.00 price target on Lucid Group Inc.

(NASDAQ: LCID).

“In Q1, Lucid (LCID, N) delivered 3,109 vehicles, in-line with our estimates/Visible Alpha consensus of 3,060/3,010 vehicles (and above 1,967 in 1Q24).

The company also disclosed shipments of an additional >600 vehicles that are in-transit to Saudi Arabia to undergo final assembly.

Separately, LCID produced 2,212 vehicles in 1Q25, above 1,728 in 1Q24.

The company is guiding 1Q25 revenue of $232M-236M, and their FY25 Production Guidance remains unchanged at 20,000, in-line with our preliminary estimate.

Recall that in FY24, Lucid delivered 10,241 vehicles and produced 9,029 vehicles. LCID will report 1Q25 earnings and host its earnings call at 5:30PM ET on 5/6.

A key item of focus will be gross margins as Lucid continues to work towards improving its negative GMs. For Q1, sell-side consensus is expecting Negative Gross Margins of (~95%).

On the call, we hope to get some quantification on the initial sales of the company’s new Gravity SUV (following its recent launch this year), also on whether the company remains on-track for the launch of its high volume midsize SUV (Management is targeting SOP in late-2026 for a starting price of <$50,000), and finally, on additional color regarding the recent capital injections and PIF relationship.”
