How Price Target handles your data. Last updated October 6, 2026.
Who we are
Price Target is an archive of Wall Street analyst research on AI, semiconductor and automotive stocks: research notes reproduced verbatim, consensus price targets and how they have moved, analyst accuracy rankings, earnings reactions and weekly recaps. Price Target was founded in 2025 and is owned by CARBA. The website address is https://price-target.com.
For any question about this policy or your data, write to info@carba.ai.
In short
- You can read everything on Price Target without an account. We don’t show ads and we don’t sell personal data.
- We count visits with Google Analytics, Jetpack Stats and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies; Cloudflare Web Analytics does not.
- Our fonts are served from our own server.
Visit statistics
Google Analytics 4 (Google). Records the pages you view, the page you came from, your browser, device and screen size, your approximate location (country and city) and the time of each visit, and can record interactions such as scrolling, clicks on links to other sites and searches on this site. Google uses your IP address only to work out that approximate location and then discards it: Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_FT8DZWTGJY, which last up to two years. We keep this data for 14 months. You can block these cookies in your browser or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Jetpack Stats (Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com). Counts page views, the pages visitors came from, clicks on links to other sites and visitors’ countries. To do this it receives your IP address, browser details (user agent), the page address, the referring page, the time and your browser language. We only see totals, for example how many times a page was viewed, never who viewed it. Automattic keeps these logs for 28 days.
Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare). Measures page views and how fast pages load. It uses no cookies or local storage and does not use your IP address or browser details to track you.
Hosting, delivery and security
The site is hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic) and delivered through Cloudflare’s network, which also protects it from attacks and automated abuse. Like any website, these servers process your IP address, browser details, the address you request and the time, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Cloudflare may set the security cookies __cf_bm, which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and cf_clearance, which is set only after you pass a security check.
Some images, including company and firm logos, are served by WordPress.com’s image network (i0.wp.com), and some scripts by WordPress.com (s0.wp.com and c0.wp.com). Your browser connects to those Automattic servers directly, so they also receive your IP address and browser details.
Fonts
The fonts on this site, IBM Plex Sans and JetBrains Mono, are served from our own server. No font service receives any information about you.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message by email and use them only to reply to you. The form does not store your message on the site.
Newsletter
Our daily email runs on beehiiv. You subscribe on beehiiv’s site (carba.beehiiv.com), and beehiiv stores your email address and newsletter activity on our behalf. Its privacy policy explains how it handles that data.
Sharing buttons and links
The buttons for sharing a note on X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook or Reddit, and our links to social networks, are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those services until you click one.
Cookies and local storage
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_FT8DZWTGJY | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart for the statistics above | Up to 2 years |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Protects the site from bots | 30 minutes of inactivity |

The site also keeps a few small items in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
pt-theme | Your light or dark mode choice | Until you clear it |
pt_lv | When you last visited, to highlight notes that are new to you | Until you clear it |
ptLogoBox7 | Logo sizes, so pages draw faster | Until you clear it |
A few older pages may also store whether your browser supports the WebP image format. You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings.
Who else receives data
The providers named above, Google, Automattic, Cloudflare and beehiiv, may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards described in their own privacy policies: Google, Automattic, Cloudflare and beehiiv. We don’t sell or rent personal data and don’t use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to restrict or stop using it, by writing to info@carba.ai. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
