What the analyst said

KeyBanc analyst John Vinh raised the price target on Broadcom Limited (NASDAQ: AVGO) to $315 (from $275) while maintaining an Overweight rating.

“AVGO reported solid F2Q (Apr) results and provided mixed F3Q (Jul) guidance (higher revs, lower EBITDA/EPS).

Upside was driven by Infra SW due to VMW, while Semi and AI Semi rev of $4.4B (+46% y/y) was in line, with AI Networking +170% y/y and AI ASICs +DD% y/y.

Notably, AVGO indicated AI revs are expected to grow +60% in FY25 vs. our prior est of +45% and would sustain and grow +60% in FY26, as the other 2 AI ASIC customers (META, Byte Dance) ramp in addition to GOOGL and reiterated expectations each of these customers remain on track to deploy 1M XPU clusters in FY27.

We’re encouraged by the strong AI outlook and are raising our ests and PT to $315. Reiterate Overweight.”
