Truist Securities Raises Texas Instruments Price Target to $225
Truist Securities analyst William Stein raised the price target on Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) to $225.00 (from $195.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
“Guides to better than just “stabilization” but it doesn’t look like an inflection; TXN guided well, but let’s not get crazy. TXN delivered ~inline Q4 results, and guided Q1 2% above consensus.
Bulls will focus the idea that TXN is guiding Q1 up q/q for the first time in ~15 years, but let’s get perspective: TXN delivered q/q growth in about half of the last 15 Q1 periods, and the guide is 3-4% above seasonal.
Good. Inline with our Q4 industry contact feedback. Better than “stabilization” but not an inflection, in our view.
CY27 EPS to $7.50 (from $7.06); PT to $225 (from $195) based on 30x (3x discount to now-elevated peers).
Hold.”
