What the analyst said
Citi analyst Asiya Merchant raised the price target on Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) to $365 (from $315) while maintaining a Buy rating.
“We remain constructive on Apple shares and expect the company to continue gaining market share despite a slowing devices end market,” Merchant said.
“We believe Apple’s ability to implement selective price increases will help offset margin pressures, while its premium brand and loyal customer base should limit demand weakness.”
