Rosenblatt analyst Barton Crockett raised the price target on Meta Platforms Inc.

(NASDAQ: META) to $886 (from $883) while maintaining a Buy rating.

“We regard Meta’s $18B of settlements resolving nearly all state allegations of kid/teen safety issues in product design as a big win.

The legal risk, that had prompted media talk of a “tobacco moment” for Meta and social media, largely goes up in smoke. Investors’ focus can now return to the debate over hefty ad growth and AI CapEx.

We retain our BUY rating, make slight adjustments to our Street high price target (which rises $3 to $886, presuming an EV of 16x 2026E Adj. EBITDA, growing at a mid 20s+ CAGR) and update estimates.

The settlement equals about 1% of Meta’s market cap, way below posturing-driven pre-settlement talk of $200B of damages (from the states’ side) and $1.4 trillion from Meta that may have spooked some investors.”
