Citi Reaffirms Buy on Meta, $800 PT
Citi analyst Ronald Josey reiterated a Buy rating and $800 price target on Meta Platforms Inc. (NASDAQ: META).
The reaffirmation follows Meta’s announcement of the Meta Enterprise Platform, which the analyst described as a commercialization of its Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, and Muse Code.
Meta also hired CJ Desai, formerly CEO of MongoDB, to help build out the new segment. Josey noted Desai’s background spans AI, infrastructure, business applications, and security.
Josey said the Enterprise launch suggests Meta has sufficient compute capacity into 2027 as newer products and services come to market.
He also cited growing adoption of Meta’s Llama Spark models and the expected launch of a product referred to as Watermelon as factors in his assessment.
