What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J.

Muse reiterated an Overweight rating and $2,000 price target on Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU).

“Micron reiterated that it has 16 SCAs, including 14 with pricing metrics, and sees potential for these agreements to cover 50% of revenue, versus 25% in the May quarter and 35% in the August quarter.

New SCAs will reflect prevailing market pricing, and the company has already signed additional agreements at higher prices.

Micron expects supply/demand conditions to be even tighter in CY27 than CY26, with constraints persisting through CY28.

Customers hold little to no inventory, and the company sees limited near-term relief.

Finally, MU discussed its recently approved ~$35B share repurchase authorization, which we expect to begin in earnest on December 9th.”
