What the analyst said
KeyBanc analyst John Vinh lowered the price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) to $140 (from $155) while maintaining an Overweight rating.
“INTC posted mixed 3Q26 results (slight rev miss, EPS above) and guided 4Q26, well below.
Most of the miss was due to the memory-induced PC correction as 3Q PC revs missed by $800M and was guided down more than 20% q/q in 4Q, which is over $2B below cons.
To a lesser extent, the explosion at the Israel fab on Oct 14 negatively impacted 4Q server revs by $300M and 200 bps in GM.
In terms of positives, INTC sees 30%+ server CPU unit TAM in ’27 and expects a couple of customer announcements in adv packaging over the next 2 quarters (AWS, GOOGL).
We’re lowering ests and PT to $140. Remain OW.”
