What the analyst said
Jefferies analyst Kevin Garrigan lowered the price target on GlobalFoundries Inc.
(NASDAQ: GFS) to $50 (from $60) while maintaining a Hold rating.
“GFS delivered an in-line quarter/revenue guide, while stronger margins and ASPs drove modest EPS upside. SiPh saw another step-up and is helping drive C26 CID growth to +65% Y/Y.
Capacity triples next year and SiPh exits C27 at a $1B run rate, one year ahead of expectations.
Demand and pricing support growth, but $4B of C27 net capex and dilution to 600M shares limit the pershare upside, in our view.”
