What the analyst said
Needham analyst Charles Shi reiterated a Buy rating and $255 price target on Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM).
“Arm Holdings reported results that were near the high-end of guidance on both revenue and operating margin, with strength in License driving results.
Management has pointed to continued growth for the next two quarters at a YoY rate of ~24%, which should position FY27 (ending Mar’28) as a strong growth year for ARM (~24-25% YoY top-line growth).
On the hot topic of the AGI CPU, management is incrementally more confident in achieving their $2B sales target after securing $2B foundry wafer supply and well over $2B customer demand (we think $4-6B so far) over the last 90 days.
Further details on the AGI CPU and FY28 (Mar’29) outlook are expected at the next earnings call. We are maintaining our Buy rating and $255PT (unchanged at 76x our CY28 NG EPS).”
