What the analyst said

Deutsche Bank analyst Brad Zelnick raised the price target on Palantir Technologies Inc.

(NASDAQ: PLTR) to $80 (from $50) while maintaining a Sell rating.

“Undoubtedly, these were strong results with Palantir capturing the momentum in AI while also likely a beneficiary as the government looks to streamline and modernize by leveraging technology.

Yet for the impressive results and guidance, international continues to lag, as expected with International Commercial -5% y/y on a reported basis.

Our FY26 estimates increase 6% on revenue and 13% on operating income but with the stock trading at 57x our CY26E revenue in AH trading, our main concern continues to be valuation.

The stock trades at ~3x the revenue multiple of the next most expensive stock in our coverage and on a uFCF basis stands at ~140x our CY26E (@ AH pricing).

We adjust our TP to $80 (from $50) and maintain our Sell rating.”
