What the analyst said
Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh reiterated an Outperform rating and $250 price target on Broadcom Limited (NASDAQ: AVGO).
“We would note strong ramps for Custom Silicon ASICs at AVGO into 2026E as TPUv7p/MTIA2 and 2H26 with OpenAI’s Strawberry and AAPL’s (NC) Baltra.
We would note potential for other Custom ASIC engagements into 1H27E.
Our call also noted that MRVL (NC) could see some CoWoS headwinds, as CoWoS 2026 capacity sees some softening y/y – potentially with AlChip (3661.TW, NC) gains on Trn3.
Also, near-term we believe MTK (2454.TW, Covered by Kevin Wang, Buy, TWD1,750 PT) seeing some challenges on v7e ramp with yield issues which could soften 2026E MTK CoWoS outlook.”
