What the analyst said
Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard reiterated an Overweight rating and $355 price target on Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA).
“TSLA pre-announced that it delivered 384,122 vehicles in 2Q25, in-line with Visible Alpha consensus of 385,086 (and below 443,956 in 2Q24).
Of the total vehicles delivered, 373,728 were Model 3/ Y and 10,394 comprised the other models (Model S, Model X, Cybertruck).
Separately, Tesla also pre-announced that it had produced 410,244 vehicles in 2Q25, below Visible Alpha consensus of 434,227 vehicles (and vs. 410,831 vehicles in 2Q24).
Tesla’s sales in Q2 were affected by weaker demand in Europe and Elon’s polarizing politics, among other reasons.
On 7/2, Tesla also announced that it had deployed 9.6 GWh of energy storage products in 2Q25, vs. Visible Alpha consensus of 11.8 GWh (and vs. ~9.4 GWh in 2Q24).”
