Piper Sandler Raises AMD Price Target to $300
Piper Sandler analyst Harsh Kumar raised the price target on AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) to $300.00 (from $280.00) while maintaining an Overweight rating.
“Expecting Top-Line Upside of ~$200M; Overall, we remain very enthusiastic about AMD’s prospects going into 2026 and into the March quarter guidance.
For the December 2025 quarter, we believe AMD will deliver revenue upside to the tune of $200 million, with potential to exceed that level, and EPS upside of at least $0.02 relative to the Street.
For the March quarter, we also see potential for upside, although we expect it to be relatively small given the seasonal aspects of client, gaming, and even the enterprise EPYC CPU business.
That said, we feel that the stock and fundamentals of the company will really start to shine in mid-2026 as AMD gets ready to ramp its Helios rack and its contract with OpenAI.
Additionally, between now and midyear, we expect several of OpenAI partners and other customers to come through with announcements and purchase commitments. Reiterate OW rating, raising PT to $300.”
