TD Cowen analyst Joshua Buchalter reiterated a Buy rating and $290.00 price target on AMD (NASDAQ: AMD).

“Meta Adds Key Non-OpenAI Validation; AMD and Meta announced a multi-year/gen partnership to power Meta’s next-gen AI infrastructure.

Similar to the OpenAI deal, the agreement includes 6GW of compute and performance-based warrants issued to Meta.

Questions on the warrants are justified, but we view the deal as important validation of AMD’s legitimate participation in the AI compute TAM, with an interesting customization angle.”
