What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J.

Muse raised the price target on Lam Research (NASDAQ: LRCX) to $500.00 (from $425.00) while maintaining an Overweight rating.

“While we favor ASML on pure earnings upside, we continue to see buying opportunities depending on investor preference for the rest of the group.

AMAT remains the most optically inexpensive (36x CY27 vs. LRCX 44x, KLAC 47x, and ASML 39x), LRCX looks to be gaining the most share, while KLAC is the most defensive name in the group.

In general, we continue to be “All-in” on Semi Cap as Investors begin to discount growing WFE forecasts extending out through CY30, resulting in growing earnings power for essentially every name in the ecosystem.”
