Morgan Stanley Reiterates Equalweight on Ford, $14 PT
Morgan Stanley analyst Andrew Percoco reiterated an Equalweight rating and $14 price target on Ford (NYSE: F) on August 27, 2026.
“What happened? Ford named Dave Carroll president of Ford Energy, effective Aug. 31, succeeding Lisa Drake, who will retire at year-end following a 32-year career at Ford.
Carroll joins from ENGIE North America, where he served as CEO and chief renewables officer and grew the company’s renewable operating assets by >12x over six years.
At Ford Energy, Carroll will oversee battery cell manufacturing, system assembly, commercial strategy and sales, reporting to Ford Vice Chair John Lawler. Ms.
Drake, who established Ford Energy in January 2026 after previously leading key elements of Ford’s EV and battery industrialization, will remain through Dec. 31 to support the transition.
Our Take: We view the appointment of Mr. Carroll to President of Ford Energy as a positive development for the company. Mr.
Carroll brings extensive expertise in renewables/energy storage to Ford at a pivotal period for its Energy business.
We remain bullish Ford Energy and expect additional customer announcements over the coming months.”
