BofA Securities Maintains Buy on SpaceX, $235 PT
BofA Securities analyst Ronald Epstein reiterated a Buy rating and $235 price target on SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX).
“Starship took flight early on Monday, September 28.
The launch demonstrated the first successful orbital flight of the Starship upper stage, deployment of 26 operational Starlink v3 satellites via Starship’s “Pez dispenser” interface, and reentry from orbit resulting in controlled splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
Flight 14 improved on Flight 13’s performance including completing a successful soft landing of the Super Heavy booster stage.
While not entirely without hiccups on engine relighting as in Flight 13, with the mission being cut several hours short following an unplanned shutdown of one of the Starship’s engines, Flight 14 represented a key demonstration of Starship’s ability to reach orbit, deploy operational payloads, and return both upper and lower stages in controlled fashions.”
