What the analyst said

BofA Securities analyst Ronald Epstein raised the price target on SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) to $275 (from $235) while maintaining a Buy rating.

“SpaceX (SPCX) third quarter results beat the street across metrics and the company raised the ante on what’s coming in 2027.

Management visions appear closer to reality than initial expectations, pulling forward outyear revenue estimates as close as 2027.

In concert, capex investment in orbital and terrestrial compute will accelerate ahead of street expectations. We reiterate our Buy rating, raise our PO to $275 (from $235).

SPCX completed 35 launches in Q3, highlighted by Flight 14 which was Starship’s first revenue-generating mission demonstrating orbital insertion for the first time and successful deployment of 26 operational Starlink V3 satellites.

Flight 15 is expected next month, targeting recovery of both the booster and ship, a key milestone toward full reusability.

We view Flight 15 as the next major catalyst, as successful execution could support weekly Starship launches in 1H27 with cadence accelerating through 2H27, further de-risking the program and expanding Starlink deployment capacity.”
