StoneX analyst Yi Fu Lee reiterated a Buy rating on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT).

“We believe the Agentic Enterprise requires considerably more than cutting-edge SOTA models.

A common theme emerging across MongoDB, Snowflake, Palantir, Oracle, and Microsoft is that enterprises increasingly need infrastructure layers capable of providing memory, retrieval, context, governance, security, and orchestration.

MongoDB positions Atlas as the memory and retrieval layer powering AI applications. Snowflake positions itself as the governance and orchestration layer, agnostic to customer model preference.

Oracle emphasizes the strategic importance of proprietary enterprise data as a core organizational asset, while Microsoft increasingly serves as the orchestration juggernaut layer connecting applications, workflows, agents, and enterprise systems.

Although each company occupies a different position within the technology stack, all appear to be converging around a similar architectural conclusion.

In our view, the common thread across these companies is that AI is expanding the importance of data, memory, governance, retrieval, and orchestration layers rather than compressing their value.

The infrastructure supporting agentic AI and enterprise SaaS applications may ultimately become more valuable than the frontier models themselves.”
