What the analyst said
UBS analyst Stephen Ju raised the price target on Meta Platforms Inc.
(NASDAQ: META) to $892 (from $884) while maintaining a Buy rating.
“In our view, Meta is entering a CapEx harvest cycle, with three years of investment in frontier AI models beginning to translate into both stronger near-term advertising performance and accelerating adoption of AI products.
We believe Meta can further improve ad targeting and content recommendations through optimized versions of its Muse model, creating upside to our 2027 and 2028 revenue forecasts.
In addition, management’s intention to monetize Muse faster than the historical ~4-year product dev cycle suggests the step-up in topline growth could materialize earlier.
We increase our 2027 / 2028 revenue estimates by just ~1% / ~2% following the print – leaving room for further adoption-led monetization upside to our forecasts.
With no additional cost guidance provided for 2027 and beyond, we also leave our above-consensus 2027 / 2028 total expense estimates largely unchanged.
Our revised price target of $892 implies about 25% upside (vs aftermarket price). We maintain our Buy rating.”
