What the analyst said

Yorkville Ives analyst Dan Ives raised the price target on Meta Platforms Inc.

(NASDAQ: META) to $920 (from $900) while maintaining an Outperform rating.

“The most important message on the call was that Muse growth is constrained by compute rather than demand.

Management expects to improve Muse compute efficiency more than tenfold over the next year and is building capacity to serve more than 1 billion people over the next few years.

It expects Muse revenue per American user to eventually exceed that of the Family of Apps, with monetization starting earlier than under Meta’s usual playbook across commerce, subscriptions, business tools, and enterprise.

The new non-voting Class C stock, effective January 19, 2027, and expected to begin trading in late January, adds financing flexibility while preserving voting control, though management has no specific financing plans yet.

We maintain our OUTPERFORM rating and raise our PT to $920 from $900 as we believe the quarter showed both halves of the story working, with AI lifting monetization in the core and Muse pulling in more demand than Meta can currently serve.”
