What the analyst said
RBC Capital analyst Srini Pajjuri reiterated a Sector Perform rating and $100 price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).
“We expect another beat/raise as robust Agentic AI demand should support at least a 5% revenue beat and 3-5% raise, in our view.
We expect double-digit growth in Server CPU volumes to continue into 2027, along with mix/ASP tailwinds.
Supply remains an unknown and the company is aggressively adding wafer (Intel 3) and back-end capacity, which should remain a tailwind into 2027.
In Client, our recent conversations in Asia point to improved availability of Panther Lake CPUs, implying better 18A yields, although weak PC demand remains an overhang.
On the Foundry front, we believe Intel is making solid progress in advanced packaging (EMIB-T potentially contributing $3-$5B in 2028) and we expect 14A news flow to remain positive in the near term.
However, at > 40x CY27E EPS, we believe NT risk/reward is fairly balanced. Maintain Sector Perform.”
