What the analyst said

StoneX analyst Gary Mobley reiterated a Hold rating on Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM).

“As we highlighted in our Arm Holdings (ARM) initiation as well as a our EDA/IP industry primer, ARM is among the best positioned to take advantage of the rapidly expanding opportunity for data center CPUs as well as deeper penetration for ARM CPUs in automotive, PCs and other markets previously dominated by competing processor architectures.

However, as it relates to the FY27-FY28 consensus revenue view, we see limited upside in the near-term due mostly to continued fab capacity constraints (e.g., the limiting constraint to ARM AGI CPU revenue).

Given that ARM shares are trading at >100.0x NTM non-GAAP EPS, this creates a difficult set up for ARM shares until Dec-Q results are reported in Feb, or until management updates investors on supply.”
