What the analyst said

Mizuho analyst Siti Panigrahi reiterated an Outperform rating and $320 price target on Oracle (NYSE: ORCL).

“Oracle kicked off Day 1 of AI World with a heavy focus on Apps innovation, showcasing agentic AI capabilities embedded directly into Fusion and highlighting how Oracle is positioning the suite to address investor fears that AI could disintermediate traditional SaaS.

The core message was AI should strengthen, rather than replace, packaged applications by making Fusion the governed execution layer for enterprise outcomes.

Oracle highlighted 75 agentic applications, including 25 extended by Fusion Claw for specialist work, alongside Fusion Companion/Agentic Home and AI-assisted implementation capabilities.

We believe Oracle is evolving Fusion from a “system of record” toward a “system of outcomes,” while keeping execution, permissions and business context inside Fusion even when users interact through external AI layers such as ChatGPT.

We believe this could improve stickiness, implementation speed and Database/OCI consumption.

Monetization remains the key unanswered question, with limited disclosure around pricing, attach rates or revenue contribution.”
