What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard raised the price target on Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) to $425 (from $365) while maintaining a Neutral rating.

“Tesla reported a Top Line, Gross Margin, and adj. EPS MISS, below Bloomberg Consensus expectations.

For 2025, the company disclosed “growth” for its automotive business, and “>50% growth” for its Energy & Storage Business.”

“Additionally, management is now targeting to launch its Robotaxi segment via unsupervised FSD (ride-hailing) in June.

We expect the company will launch first in Texas, followed by California later this year. Tesla also reaffirmed SOP of its lower-priced vehicle for 1H25 (we expect <$27,000).

Separately, TSLA also disclosed that it is continuing to ramp up production of its Optimus Bot, and we expect initial deliveries to customers in 2H26.”
