What the analyst said

Citi analyst Christopher Danely raised the price target on AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) to $120 (from $100) while maintaining a Neutral rating.

“AMD will host its Advancing AI day on June 12th. We expect AMD to launch its latest AI product – MI355X – and talk about its upcoming MI400 product.

We also expect AMD to highlight new customers such as AWS or potentially OpenAI.

We are adjusting our model for a one-time charge of $800.0 million due to China export controls and reiterate our Neutral rating.”
