Piper Sandler analyst Harsh Kumar reiterated on January 6, 2026, an ‘Overweight’ rating and $225 price target on Nvidia.

NVDA Continues to Astound

We attended Nvidia’s CES keynote addressed by CEO Jensen Haung, as well as the hosted financial analyst Q&A.

Overall, we left extremely positive on NVDA’s technological positioning to deliver ROI and value to its customers throughout the year.

Vera Rubin is now in full production, with revenues expected to begin in 2H26 and an anticipated faster ramp than Blackwell and Hopper generations.

In China, NVDA has its H200 chips ready with strong demand and an ample ability to supply pending US government approval.

The company also unveiled its Alpamayo autonomous driving model, with the first expected car on the road in 1Q26.

We continue to be astounded by the level of involvement of NVDA in the AI space and advancements it contributes to the ecosystem.”
