Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J.

Muse reiterated a Neutral rating and $45.00 price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).

“the +47% YTD move was a surprise to us, particularly given our expectations for foundry customer announcements much later in the year.

To this end, we reiterate our Neutral rating and $45 price target – thus, incremental downside vs. after-hour price of ~$47-48.

Our sense is that actual fundamentals combined with real clarity on foundry customers are the next catalysts, but most likely in 2HCY26.

As for laterals, we view more positive server CPU commentary as a small positive for AMD, we view PC weakness to weigh on PC unit-driven names in that supply chain, and see Capex commentary as a modest positive for Semi Cap.

Finally, we would point investors to Samsung’s Taylor recent investments and how it certainly appears to us that Samsung is in the pole position to be the #2 leading-edge foundry after TSMC and likely ramps meaningfully before Intel.”
