What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J.

Muse reiterated a Neutral rating and $26 price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).

“Intel hosted its Foundry Direct Connect 2025 event today, with keynote speakers including Lip-Bu Tan, CEO, Naga Chandrasekaran, CTO and Kevin O’Buckley, SVP Foundry Services.

During the event, Intel reiterated its commitment to its Foundry strategy, highlighted new products/ technologies as well as progress with 18A, and discussed its deep collaborations with industry leaders.

We can’t say we heard meaningful surprises, but it was reassuring to hear the new CEO set down a market from which we can judge performance in the weeks, months, and years ahead.

We reiterate Neutral rating and $26 price target with risk/reward skewed to the upside as we await more granularity on initial foundry customers (NVDA?

AVGO?) as well as potentially more information regarding fabless investments into the JV over time (an eventuality we see as likely).”
