What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J.

Muse reiterated a Neutral rating and $22 price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).

“We expect Intel to post in-line results followed by a modest miss in the guide and would welcome any commentary around full year expectations for CY25.

If the company does guidance, we would expect it to be on the conservative side, allowing the company ample headroom to continually raise guidance through the year.

In terms of overall the demand profile, we would expect Intel to point to a recovery in the overall PC market as well as stronger growth in the server market and confidence that it is recovering some share against accelerated servers (albeit modestly).

Overall, we see this time as a transition period as the company solidifies its strategic path forward under two new co-CEOs though see a lot of wood to chop in the interim.

We continue to rate shares of Intel Neutral. We reiterate our $22 price target, based on a ~1.2x multiple on tangible book value.”
