What the analyst said
Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J.
Muse reiterated a Neutral rating and $22 price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).
“4Q results came in a little better ($14.26B/ $0.13 vs. cons $13.8B/$0.12), while 1Q guide came in a little worse ($12.2B/$0.00 vs. cons $12.9B/$0.09) with all 3 product segments tracking down HSD/LDD due to macro uncertainty (including tariffs) and increasing competition.
The good news is revenues, gross margins, and presumably EPS should bottom in 1Q with mgmt. guiding for incremental GMs of 40-60% and reiterating Opex guide of $17.5B.”
“We now model CY25 EPS of $0.25, below our prior estimate of $0.90 and consensus of $0.89.
Elsewhere, the company is laser-focused on a return to FCF positive, including Capex lowered to the low end of the guide (now tracking to $20B from prior guided range of $20-23B) and plans for deleveraging/asset sales in 2025 (ALTR, MBLY, Other).”
