Citizens analyst Patrick Walravens reiterated a Market Outperform rating and $550.00 price target on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT).
“On June 16, Microsoft (MSFT, MO, $550 PT) announced that Copilot Cowork is generally available worldwide and will use usage-based billing, with task pricing based on model use, context retrieval, tool calls, and runtime.
Axios reported that Microsoft is also exploring a Microsoft-hosted version of DeepSeek V4, or another open-source model, as a lower-cost alternative to the Anthropic and OpenAI models currently powering Copilot Cowork.
Axios reported that any DeepSeek option would be optional for customers and hosted on Azure, keeping customer data within Microsoft’s cloud.”
