What the analyst said

Piper Sandler analyst David O’Connor lowered the price target on Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM) to $270 (from $320) while maintaining an Overweight rating.

“Increased Confidence on Silicon Ramp; Solid FQ2 print from ARM with a 5-9% beat on revenues/EPS vs cons. FQ4 guided 1-2% ahead of cons.

Main takeaway from conf-call was increasing confidence on its Silicon AGI target of $2B in FY27-28, with production ramp commencing in FQ4.

Beyond FY28 AGI demand is very strong and the team working on securing more supply.

Following results we make minimal changes to FY27-31 estimates but lower our PT to $270 with a SOTP, using a reduced 30x multiple, from mid-30x previously, following a market correction.

We continue to like the Accelerator IP story where ~10% ASIC share could double company’s current earnings.

While we didn’t learn anything new on the Accelerator project, on results, we expect H1 next year to be the catalyst. Reiterate OW.”
