Benchmark analyst Cody Acree raised the price target on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) to $76.00 (from $57.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.

“In our opinion, Intel’s dual announcements over the past two days matter because they address both of the key debates in the stock at once.

The Google announcement is the cleaner near-term fundamental development, reinforcing that CPUs remain central in heterogeneous AI systems and that x86 still has a durable role inside hyperscale infrastructure even as Google deploys NVIDIA GPU/Grace systems and its own internal silicon.

The Tesla/SpaceX/xAI Terafab announcement is less detailed commercially, but in our view, it still serves as meaningful symbolic validation that Intel 18A has moved materially closer to commercial credibility.

In combination, we believe that is the right setup for a higher valuation framework for Intel’s shares. Accordingly, we are raising our Price Target to $76 from $57 and maintain our Buy rating.

Our higher target reflects a more constructive view of Intel’s medium-term earnings power as the market grows more confident in the durability of its CPU franchise while also assigning greater strategic value to Intel’s manufacturing, packaging, and custom-silicon optionality.”
