What the analyst said

DA Davidson analyst Gil Luria raised the price target on Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) to $295 (from $270) while maintaining a Neutral rating.

“Apple’s 4Q26 results showed continued iPhone cycle upgrades along with resilient Mac sales, but disappointing Services growth.

Management provided better than anticipated revenue guidance as Apple begins to lap tougher comps from the success of the iPhone 17…We understand investors are disappointed with the slowdown in Services growth, and management appeared to recognize the concern as well.

We believe Siri monetization could provide a meaningful tailwind to Services as Apple gradually rolls out its AI capabilities.

Apple has a unique advantage here, as many agentic experiences are limited by their ability to deeply integrate with the iPhone and a user’s personal data.

We believe Apple can leverage this position to capture more of the value created by AI agents on its devices, rather than ceding it entirely to frontier model providers.

Apple also possesses an asset that is difficult for AI companies to replicate: consumer trust.

Using an AI agent with access to personal messages, photos, emails, and other data requires a higher degree of trust than most traditional software, an area where Apple has spent years building its reputation.”
