What the analyst said

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard reiterated an Overweight rating and $485 price target on Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA).

“Last week Tesla unveiled its new (and long-awaited) high-performance Roadster.

The Roadster combines SpaceX-derived compressed-gas thruster technology, which allows the vehicle to hover and to accelerate 0–60 mph in under a second.

During the demonstration, Tesla’s roadster “climbed” a curved ramp, launched and flipped over in the air, and landed safely back on the pavement.

The roadster also went on to “jump” over TSLA’s different fleet vehicles (including the Semi), and during the demonstration Elon disclosed that SOP is targeted for 2028.”
