What the analyst said

Truist Securities analyst Youssef Squali raised the price target on Meta Platforms Inc.

(NASDAQ: META) to $900 (from $880) while maintaining a Buy rating.

“We remain constructive on META into earnings and expect results to be in line / slightly ahead of our +22% Y/Y revenue growth est. (high-end of guidance).

Results should reflect strong user engagement and improving monetization from better ranking and recommendation.

For 4Q, we expect mgmt’s guide to bracket consensus revenue of +18% (or $55-58B) on tough Y/Y comps and maintain its Opex & Capex guide.

For FY26, we’re tweaking our revenue estimates to reflect better traction with wearables and expect mgmt to guide to sustained Capex (~$100B) and Opex levels ($142-146B) to fuel AI investments to drive above-industry growth and pursue AGI.

Our PT goes to $900 from $880.”
