What the analyst said
Truist Securities analyst Youssef Squali lowered the price target on Meta Platforms Inc.
(NASDAQ: META) to $875 (from $900) while maintaining a Buy rating.
“Maintain Buy on Back of 3Q Beat/4Q Guide; Mgmt Doubles Down on AI Investments with Green Shoots Emerging; We remain constructive on META and adjust our ests/PT to $875 from $900 following stronger 3Q results and a solid 4Q guide, reflecting robust ad share gains fueled by AI improvements across ad recommendations, monetization and user growth/engagement.
Ad demand remains strong across geos/verticals providing a positive set up into 4Q25/FY26.
Against this backdrop, mgmt is leaning hard into investments, (soft) guiding to Capex and Opex for FY26 that are notably higher than consensus given tangible NT benefits (higher ad conversion/greater user engagement).
We believe Meta continues to earn the right to invest as long as it delivers faster top line growth and FCFs NT.”
